Woke up, ate another cold breakfast, saw a lot of wildlife including a friendly fox.
Went to visit Avonlea, "home" of Anne of Green Gables. The whole town runs in character all day. There are also skits every hour or so. Had a nice day there.
Some surprisingly good music from local musicians.
They bought this church and cut it into four pieces to move it to Avonlea.
Bought souvenirs and pool floaties to sleep on because the ground is so hard.
Return to Cavendish campsite, hoping to be able to cook as there was a thunderstorm all night long. They only went down to "orange" alert, no fires from 8 am to 8 pm.... So no cooking again.
Went to Sam's Seafood and Grill for food. Terrible, DO NOT GO THERE frozen fish, fries, vegetables, Uncle Bens rice, even pre-packaged tartar sauce.
Was planning to see a Ceilidh but it was thirty dollars at community center and standing room only :(
Instead we went to Carrs oyster bar for drinks and music. The restaurant had a pretty good nice view. We should have went there for dinner!
