July 10th, 2012 Fredericton, New Brunswick

Left our temporary home of "Airport Inn" after arriving very late from Toronto to Fredericton, New Brunswick.  Rooms were clean and decent.  No breakfast though.

Caught a cab into Fredericton to pickup our car from Budget Rent-A-Car.  Unfortunately, our reservation for a compact car was "upgraded" to a full-sized sedan.  We inquired about getting a compact (we had 2000km of driving ahead of us at least) we were told there were none, and we could contact our further stops to inquire on our way.

Continued into Fredericton downtown where we received some nice advice from the tourism office in city hall.  We toured Garrison district, churches, local shops, and ended up on a converted railway bridge.

Our way back led us to lunch at Isaac's Way http://www.isaacsway.ca/.  I had the lamb curry burger, amazing, and Carol had a swiss veggie focaccia sandwich.  Also excellent.

We checked into parkview B+B http://www.bbcanada.com/10987.html?showpage=1, hung around a nice little park across the street.

Later we went to the Snooty fox http://thesnooty.ca/ where I had another wonderful meal of stuffed chicken.  Carol had a simple shepherd's pie.

Finally, we enjoyed the open concert in Garrison Park with a local swing band.
