July 15th, 2012 Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and Antigonish, Nova Scotia

Drive on north shore drive to Charlottetown beautiful day nice view

Budget rent a car sucks not even open after they told me to call in the morning

Walking heritage tour

The giant colonial house on the hill is the Lieutenant Governor General's house.  We don't think he really lives there though :)

Nice old church.

Stopped at the Gahan House http://www.gahan.ca/ for lunch good food little slow.  Had Montreal smoked meat sandwich with panko bread crumb crusted pickles!?! and Carol had goat cheese chicken wrap.  Cost about $35.

Took a tour of St. Dunstan's Basilica very beautiful cathedral.

Stopped for some Cow's ice cream http://www.cows.ca . Very good. I bought a PEI shirt since I had run out of clean clothes!

Caught the Wood Island ferry across to Nova Scotia, about $70.

Managed to find two jacks on the ferry.  Reminded me of something.

Saint Francis Xavier University http://www.stfx.ca/ in Antigonish, Nova Scotia was double what was listed on their website.  No laundry allowed either, cooked camp food in hotel kitchen.  Very poor :(

Carol watched Big Brother!
